The First Post

So I finally sent out the letters this week. Sorry they were a month late! Things were busy but I finally did it and I know that at least one person has recieved thiers because I got an invitation to chat over g-mail! How fun. Anyway it would be really cool to hear what your reaction to the letter. Where you surprised? What was the most interesting thing about your letter? What did you think you would be doing now? What are you doing now? How close were you? Let me know, did it make you laugh, cry, shake you head in confusion?

Well yesterday was my grandmothers birthday and she brings this strange letter addressed to me... so I open it up and read the first line and go wait I am so confused what is this... and then i look at the envelope one more time and realize that the writing on the front is actually my own... so needless to say I was even more confused... so I began reading the letter that began with -Hey Shaggy- (apparently that was one of my nicknames *shrug*)... I have to say I was quite surprised at what I wrote... I wrote about my beliefs and my individuality... It was very intriguing... Who knew all the inner struggles and ideals one 14 year old girl could have... The passion and the anger that came from that letter made me pretty much speechless by the time I was done reading it... I'm afraid I didn't write anything about what I would be doing 10 years from that moment so I'm not sure what I thought I would be doing but I'm positive that didn't think I'd be doing what I am... Currently I'm a nanny... I watch 4 wonderful children... I love my job... I graduated from Queens University of Charlotte right down the road from AG with a BA in psychology and will be going back to school in the fall to finish up a degree in elementary education... Ms. Genier THANK YOU for this...
